Juan Rondón
Juan Rondón Martinez (ca. 1790 – ca. 1843) was Mayor of Ponce, Puerto Rico in 1843. Rondón Martinez is best known for having inaugurated, in 1843, Ponce's old cemetery (Viejo Cementerio de Ponce) on Torres Street. This cemetery, also called Antiguo Cementerio de Ponce, became the famed Panteón Nacional Román Baldorioty de Castro.〔(Aproximación a la Iconografía Funeraria en Puerto Rico: Análisis de Tumbas y Pinturas Puertorriqueñas Representativas de Finales del Siglo XIX al Inicio del XXI.
